1. What this Agreement is about
1.1. AzerGid is an online platform through which you can find and book services of partners in Azerbaijan:
- car rental;
- accommodation;
- transfers;
- tours;
- beauty salon services;
- services of service providers under service requests: documents and migration, notarial support and lawyers, household services.
- air tickets (section 9);
- employers’ vacancies — “Jobs” (section 10).
1.2. Services are provided by Partners — car owners, property owners, carriers, guides, salons, service-request providers, the air ticketing agency, employers (hereinafter the “Partner”). The contract for the provision of the service is concluded between you and the Partner at the moment the booking is confirmed. AzerGid does not provide the services.
1.3. Who AzerGid is. AzerGid is an information intermediary within the meaning of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Electronic Commerce” and the Partner’s agent for settlements: we accept payment from you on behalf and on the instructions of the Partner, hold it under the rules of this Agreement and transfer it to the Partner after the service has been provided. In addition, we:
- provide the Site;
- verify Partners and their offers;
- assist with complaints and disputes under the rules of Section 6.
1.4. By registering, placing a booking or a service request, you accept this Agreement and the “Payment and refunds” rules and give consent to the processing of data under the Privacy Policy. The three documents apply together. Consent is recorded by a checkbox in the registration form and in the checkout form.
1.5. The Site may be used by persons over 18 years of age. Specific Partner requirements (for example, the driver’s age and driving experience) are stated in the Partner’s offer.
2. Account
2.1. Registration requires an e-mail and a password. If the password is generated by the Site, it is sent by e-mail. In the profile you can enter your first and last name and change your e-mail and password.
2.2. Accommodation, transfers, tours, salons and cars can be booked with or without an account. Service requests can be submitted only from an account.
2.3. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for actions taken from your account.
2.4. An account can be deleted by request to support — the procedure is described in the Privacy Policy, section “Your rights”.
3. Booking
3.1. Terms are visible before payment. The price, dates, scope of the service, payment method and free cancellation deadline are shown before payment. Prices are in Azerbaijani manats (AZN).
3.2. Holding of dates. The selected dates or time are held for you for 30 minutes before checkout and for 60 minutes after the order is placed — for payment. If payment is not made in time, the order is cancelled and the dates are released.
3.3. The cart may contain only one booking.
3.4. Payment methods:
- immediate charge — the amount is charged immediately;
- hold — the amount is blocked on the card and charged later, within the period stated before payment.
Details — “Payment and refunds” rules, clause 1.2.
3.5. What is paid online:
- car rental — a prepayment of 15% of the rental cost is paid online; it is AzerGid’s fee for the booking. The remainder of the rental cost and the refundable deposit are paid by you to the Partner on receipt of the car on the terms stated in the car listing;
- accommodation, transfers, tours, salons — 100% of the cost online. Nothing is paid additionally to the Partner on site. If the Partner demands an additional payment, file the complaint “additional payment demanded on site” (Section 6);
- service requests — 100% of the amount of the selected bid. State fees, notarial tariffs, materials and third-party charges are not included in the amount and are paid by you directly against a receipt or check, if so stated in the bid.
3.6. A booking is confirmed when we have received payment or confirmation of the hold. A confirmation e-mail is sent to the e-mail address given at checkout.
3.7. What you receive after payment:
| Section | What becomes available |
|---|---|
| Accommodation | exact address and check-in time |
| Transfer | driver’s name and phone, car number plate and make |
| Tour | meeting point, how to find the guide, guide’s phone |
| Salon | how to find the salon, salon’s phone |
| Service request | the service provider receives your name, phone, e-mail and files; you receive the result of the work |
3.8. Your details at checkout — first name, last name, phone, e-mail, comment. They must be accurate: the Partner and support use them to contact you.
4. Cancellation and refund
4.1. The cancellation rules are set out in the document “Payment and refunds”. The free cancellation deadline for a specific booking is stated on the booking page and in the e-mail.
4.2. Refunds of charged amounts are made to the same card. AzerGid initiates the refund within 5 business days after the cancellation or the dispute decision; crediting depends on your bank and usually takes up to 10 business days. The total period is up to 15 business days.
5. Acceptance of the service
5.1. Accommodation, transfers, tours, salons. After the service has started, we ask you to confirm that it took place. If you have not responded and have not filed a complaint within 3 days after the start, the service is deemed provided. 24 hours after that, the payment becomes available for payout to the Partner.
5.2. Service requests. After the service provider marks the work “Done”, you have 5 days to accept the work or write remarks. A reminder is sent one day before the deadline. If you have not responded, the work is deemed accepted.
5.3. No-show. If you did not come, did not arrive or did not accept the service at the appointed time without cancelling, the service is deemed provided and the payment is not refunded.
6. Complaints and disputes
6.1. On the booking page you can file a complaint:
- “not checked in” / “driver did not arrive” / “not received at the appointed time”;
- “additional payment demanded on site”;
- “does not match the description”;
- “other”.
A complaint may be filed while the booking is confirmed or after it has been completed. One complaint of each type per booking.
6.2. While a complaint is under review, the payout to the Partner for this booking is suspended. AzerGid reviews the complaint within 5 business days and communicates the decision by e-mail.
6.3. Accommodation, “not checked in”. AzerGid finds a replacement at the expense of your original order, with no additional payment on your part. If the replacement is cheaper, we refund the difference. If there is no replacement or you have declined it, we refund 100%.
6.4. Transfers, tours, salons, “service not provided”. If the complaint is confirmed, 100% of the amount is refunded to you.
6.5. Service requests. A dispute over remarks on the work is reviewed by an AzerGid operator within 5 business days. Decisions:
- rework with a new deadline;
- partial refund to you, the remainder to the service provider;
- full payout to the service provider;
- full refund through cancellation of the order.
The operator’s decision is accompanied by a comment.
6.6. A Partner with confirmed complaints about additional payment on site (2 or more) or about refusal to provide the service is disconnected from the Site.
6.7. Written claim procedure. If you disagree with the decision on a complaint or have another claim against AzerGid, send it to the e-mail support@azergid.com. We will respond within 10 business days. Claims regarding the quality of the service are made to the Partner who provided the service; AzerGid assists in forwarding the claim and in the refund under the rules of this Agreement.
6.8. Governing law and court. The relations are governed by the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Disputes not settled through the written claim procedure are considered by the court at the location of AzerGid; a consumer has the right to apply to a court of their choice in accordance with the Law “On Protection of Consumer Rights”.
7. AI assistant
7.1. The Site runs a chat assistant based on artificial intelligence (the Claude model by Anthropic). It answers questions about the Site and, if you are logged in to your account or have opened the booking page via the link from the e-mail, about your booking.
7.2. The assistant’s answers are for reference only. The booking terms are determined by the offer page, the confirmation e-mail and these documents.
7.3. The “Call an operator” button hands the conversation over to a human. During business hours (10:00–19:00 Baku time) the operator will reply in the chat and duplicate the reply by e-mail.
7.4. Do not write card numbers, codes or document numbers in the chat. The Site masks them automatically before sending, but it is better not to send them at all.
8. Liability
8.1. The Partner is liable for the quality, safety, timing and conformity of the service with its description, and for compliance with legal requirements applicable to its activity (licenses, registration, taxes).
8.2. AzerGid is liable for the operation of the Site, for accepting, holding and transferring payment under these rules and for reviewing complaints within the established time limits.
8.3. AzerGid is not liable for the actions and omissions of the Partner, for decisions of state authorities (migration, registration, apostille, court), for the content of consultations and documents prepared by service-request providers, and for losses arising from incorrect details provided by you at checkout. In service requests involving the filing of documents with a state authority, acceptance is the filing, not the authority’s decision.
8.4. AzerGid’s liability to you under any booking is limited to the amount paid by you through the Site for that booking. This limitation does not apply if the losses were caused intentionally.
8.5. Force majeure. The parties are released from liability for non-performance caused by force majeure circumstances (natural disasters, military actions, acts of public authorities, failures of payment and telecommunication systems beyond the party’s control). Cancellation due to such circumstances is governed by the “Payment and refunds” rules, clause 1.5.
9. Air tickets
9.1. The “Flights” section lets you search for and buy tickets for scheduled flights. AzerGid is an aggregator: the ticket is sold by an AzerGid Partner — an air ticketing agency accredited by the airlines; AzerGid provides the search, order placement, the booking page and support, and acts as the Partner’s agent. The contract of carriage is concluded between you and the airline named in the ticket and is governed by the carrier’s rules and the conditions of the selected fare.
9.2. The price is shown in Azerbaijani manats (AZN) and is final: it includes the carrier’s fare and charges and the agent’s commission (AzerGid and the air ticketing Partner) for search, booking and order support. AzerGid charges no separate fees on top of the price shown on the Site. The price is valid until the booking is made: if the carrier changes the fare, the Site shows the new price and asks you to confirm the purchase again.
9.3. Payment is made on the secure page of the Partner’s payment provider; card data never reaches the Site. The booking must be paid within the time shown on the booking page (usually 30 minutes); an unpaid booking is cancelled, seats are released and the price has to be checked again.
9.4. Passenger data — first and last name in Latin letters as in the travel document, date of birth, gender, citizenship, document number and expiry date — is passed to the Partner and the carrier to issue the ticket and is not stored on the Site. You are responsible for its accuracy: a mistake in the name or document number may lead to denied boarding; corrections are made under the carrier’s rules and at its charge.
9.5. The ticket is issued once the carrier assigns an e-ticket number. The AzerGid itinerary receipt with ticket numbers is sent to the buyer’s e-mail and is available on the booking page via the link in the e-mail. The ticket number and the document used for the purchase are enough to check in.
9.6. Refunds and changes follow the carrier’s fare rules: some fares are non-refundable, for others the carrier charges a penalty. Requests are sent to AzerGid support (support e-mail or the assistant on the Site) with the booking number; procedure and timing — “Payment and refunds”, section 8. The agent’s commission included in the price is not refunded on a voluntary refund or change; if the airline cancels the flight, the price is refunded in full.
9.7. Liability. The carrier is liable for the carriage — flight delays and cancellations, baggage, denied boarding — under the Air Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the 1999 Montreal Convention and its own rules. AzerGid and the Partner are responsible for issuing the ticket with the data you provided and for processing refunds under the fare rules. Visa and other requirements of the destination and transit countries are checked by the passenger.
9.8. The availability of destinations and flights is determined by the Partner.
10. Jobs
10.1. The “Jobs” section shows vacancies of partner employers in Azerbaijan. AzerGid publishes vacancies and passes your application (name, contact details, CV, cover letter) to the employer. The employment contract is concluded between you and the employer; AzerGid is not a party to it, does not guarantee employment and does not charge applicants.
10.2. The employer is responsible for the accuracy of the vacancy and the lawfulness of the hiring terms; AzerGid checks employers when they join and removes vacancies following complaints. For foreign nationals, the work permit and residence status are arranged under the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan; neither AzerGid nor the employer guarantees a positive decision of the authorities.
11. Amendment of the Agreement
11.1. AzerGid may amend this Agreement. The new version is published on the Site with an effective date at least 7 days in advance; users with an account receive an e-mail. Continued use of the Site after that date constitutes acceptance of the new version.
11.2. Bookings already paid for are governed by the terms shown at the time of payment: the Site records the order terms in an order snapshot.
11.3. The Agreement is available in Azerbaijani, Russian and English; in case of discrepancy, the Azerbaijani version prevails. The Chinese translation is for reference only.
